The Tecno F2 LTE version comes with 4G LTE just like the name suggests. There’s a rear fingerprint scanner on-board . Overall, the design was also improved to be more sleek and modern.
Design
The F2 LTE sports a removable Plastic back that’s quite attractive to say the least. You won’t have a clue it’s Plastic with the way the curved antenna lines were beautifully placed at the top and bottom corner. Then, there’s a fingerprint scanner that grants quick access to the device.
There’s a horizontal foundation at the top left corner which houses the rear camera and LED flash. The volume keys and power button are present by the right side, it’s also not that slim measuring 9.55mm in thickness and available in Black, Gold and Blue colors.
Display
No changes were made on the screen, the device is built around the small screen with normal amount of bezels around it. Furthermore, the screen exudes a 16:9 aspect ratio. The bottom bezel houses three navigation buttons while the top seems busy as well.

Bringing your videos and games to life, is the 5-inch FWVGA IPS capacitive touchscreen. This boasts of 854 x 480 pixels in resolution and 195 pixel per inch density for the standard visuals. In addition, the screen got up to 71.2% screen to body ratio.
Hardware and Software
Under the hood, the MediaTek MT6737 chip is in charge here, the chip was built on a 28nm process technology and 64-bit CPU architecture. The 4-Cores of processor on this device clocks at 1.3GHz, while the ARM Mali-400 MP2 graphics card takes care of graphics.
There’s just 1GB of RAM space available, this should run all the Go apps and light apps smoothly since it runs on Android 8.1 Oreo Go Edition. For storing files, you also get the standard 8GB storage space but you can upgrade up to 32GB using a memory card.
Camera
The same 5MP rear camera is ready here as well to help you out with all your photography needs. Sitting beside the camera is a dual-LED flash for all your night shoots. Whereas an improved 5MP selfie shooter has been placed at the top bezel to handle all your selfie needs. It comes with its own dedicated flash as well.
Battery
Powering the Tecno F2 LTE is a 2400mAh non-removable Li-Ion battery with no fast charging technology. Without the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% might take up to 2.6 hours.
